Sabine Ladstätter passed away
It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Sabine Ladstätter, who passed away on 3 June after a long, serious illness surrounded by her family. Sabine Ladstätter was scientific director of the Austrian Archaeological Institute of the Austrian Academy of Sciences and excavation director of Ephesos from 2010 to 2023. We will always remember her outstanding commitment to Ephesos and her passion for archaeology, with which she also inspired her audience in the Society of Friends of Ephesos.
